VICE VERSA
Napa Valley
Vice Versa was founded in 2003 by Montreal-native Patrice Breton. Patrice looks at wine as “liquid art.” Fervently passionate about music, art, culture, and history, the French-Canadian vintner meticulously blends these inspirations into his personal masterpiece, Vice Versa, which was born from the best blocks in Napa Valley’s Grand Cru vineyards. “I desperately wanted to make wines in Napa Valley because it felt alive with possibility, and I loved Cabernet Sauvignon. Its New World location had already proven to be capable of producing world-class wines, but there was still a freedom to be creative, innovative, and to push boundaries. As a passionate entrepreneur with a deep love for creativity, science, art, and culture, Napa seemed to be the perfect place for me.” Patrice sources grapes from vineyards recognized for their exclusivity and excellence, including: Beckstoffer To Kalon; Beckstoffer Dr. Crane; Beckstoffer Las Piedras; Beckstoffer George III, Ecotone; Steltzner; and Vice Versa’s own estate vineyard.
