Think differently. Lumen owners Will and Kali Henry have been doing it since 2012, when they founded Lumen with winemaker Lane Tanner. They kicked it up a notch in 2021 with the planting of their estate vineyards on a hilltop in the Santa Maria Valley. Will is the farmer and winemaker, experimenting with wild-farming while using regenerative organic practices.

Their wines are extremely low-intervention, with grapes picked at perfect balance so that practically nothing needs to be done in the winery. The wines are elegant and feminine, with plenty of ‘Santa Maria Spice.’
